Cormier is no stranger to the heavyweight division, as”DC” started his professional MMA profession a perfect 13-0 in the weight class before going down to light heavyweight. Cormier has quietly assembled one of the most impressive resumes in all of mixed martial arts with wins over Anthony”Rumble” Johnson, Alexander Gustafsson and Frank Mir.
Cormier will be attempting to become just the next fighter in history to maintain 2 UFC belts simultaneously, linking Conor McGregor, who achieved the feat in 2016.
The two fighters have been coaching against one another with the TUF Undefeated of this season. Unlike a few seasons around TUF the trainer have a mutual respect for one another and there has not been some adjustments or anything like that up to now.
