England boss Gareth Southgate expects a”completely different challenge” out of Kosovo into one his side faced against Bulgaria on Saturday.
England sponsor Kosovo at Euro 2020 qualifying at Southampton’s St Mary’s on Tuesday having conquered Bulgaria 4-0.
“It will be a rather different style of game,” said Southgate.
“Kosovo will be quite high pressing, hard working, a more attacking hazard than we faced on Saturday. Perhaps there’ll be more room to perform up front.”
He added:”Whatever we heard in Saturday’s game this is a completely different challenge.”
England have won all three matches in Group A while Kosovo sit point behind in second position – on eight things – since the only other unbeaten team.
Kosovo’s Swiss director could extend their unbeaten streak to 16 games in the first meeting against England of his side.
Only accepted as a part of Fifa and Uefa in 2016, Kosovo have not lost in almost two decades – a streak of 15 games.
“We are Kosovo and we are talking contrary to one of the greatest teams in the world, in my opinion – that the best team on earth,” Challandes said.
“I think that it is within my own philosophy that when we don’t dream it is unnecessary to perform such games, then we ought to dream and do all that is possible to upset England.
“For me as a mentor it is not simple to have a great mixture for the test of the particular game.
“When I say’we are to win’, I feel a lot of people think that’s pretentious; if I say’it isn’t possible to win against England’,” I must change my occupation.
“It is evident for me it is going to be a very, very difficult game but it is a possibility for our really young team to demonstrate what is a very, very higher level.”
England have no new accidents, but modifications could be made by Southgate, with winger Jadon Sancho and full-backs Ben Chilwell along with Trent Alexander-Arnold expected to play.
“We could freshen the team somewhat, that’ll be important,” he said. “We do not have to, everyone is available and fit. We need to make sure we get the balance right.
“We will need to get the right defending and attacking profiles to make sure we win the game.”
Southgate did affirm that captain Harry Kane will begin after scoring a hat-trick against Bulgaria to move ahead of World Cup winner Geoff Hurst, one to 25 targets for his nation.
